- An introduction to Palliative Care symptom Control & End of LifeDr Laila Kamal is a Specialty Doctor in the Symptom Control & Palliative Care Team at the Royal Marsden Hospital. She has a specialist interest in advanced communication skills and early integration of palliative care in oncology ‘Triggers’ tool and service. She is currently working on a mixed methods Triggers study exploring the sensitivity and acceptability of an early palliative care referral.
Dr Shane Zaidi is a Consultant Clinical Oncologist spe-cialising in the treatment of sarcoma and skin cancers, The Royal Marsden Hospital, London.
